antifreeze leaking out of the valve cover???

Hey my friends 1990 civic dx is leaking antifreeze out of the valve cover. Why is that? Is it an easy fix?

you need to replace ur head gasket. easy with the right tools and a helms manual

Head Gasket needs to be replaced. And its not the easiest thing too do.

how long would it take to put a new head gasket on??? 1.5l dx motor

I could do it in under 2 hours. It really depends on how good you are with your hands and how much experience you have.

out of the VALVE cover?! do you mean from the head in-between the block and the head mating surfaces? i am unsure how under any circumstances coolant could leak from the valve cover.

Before you go ripping the head gasket off, take a pic and show us whats actually leaking.
