Any threads on how to fill in the holes from side moldings.

Anyone know a threat where it demonstrates how to fill in the holes when the side moldings are removed? I just got my car recently and it only has the long-middle molding. The small front and back pieces are gone. To add to the retardedness, only 1/4 sections of the missing side moldings has been filled in with either bondo or some other kind of body work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Bondo isn't the best way to do it. Will sink over time. Weld the small holes shut, grind them flat, then mud & paint.

If you're talking about the impression left from the moldings,
here's what I did.

I don't use rivets anymore, I use panel adhesive made for car bodies, that works much
better.
