I need to put a kids car seat in the back of my 96 hatch. I can't find my owners manual and i can't find the tether strap bolt that came with it either. Can anyone tell me if the manual specifies what the bolt size is for the tether strap attachment that bolts to the rear of the car? Thanks!

As far as I know, there isnt one. Drill, bolt and make your own. I have a 99 hatch and went through my interior head to toe and never seen one.

I know there are three anchor points at the back. The trim piece that surrounds the hatch latch has three circular spots that are perforated to be knocked out. Those are the anchor points. I just wondered if anyone knew what size bolt it would take. I'll just try a couple and make it work. Being a Honda, it's almost surely either an m10 or m12! The whole car is put together with them!
