B series tranny HELP!!!!

i got my 99 si a couple days ago....jdm b16 with the stock tranny... supposably has a stage one clutch with like a 7 pound flywheel or some s**t.... when i take off normally>>>if i shift anywhere before 3k rpm i feel a very very small grind>>>if i punch it(or take off faster than usual) and shift anywhere over 3k rpm it feels hella smooth????SO My QUESTION IS ....would that be my tranny getn f**kd up or my clutch f**kd up some how????help me out experts

that would mean opening up the tranny right? are those hard to replace???im not a mechanic but im able to do my own engine swaps and tranny swaps so im wonderin if i would be able to do it???.....would it be cheaper to replace those or just get a new tranny?

if its your synchros, you can either replace them, or buy a new tranny. try flushing and refilling your tranny fluid first just incase...

it could be a little clutch chatter. sometimes with really light flywheels at low rpms it will do what ur saying is happening to u. thats what it sounds like to me
