This is in 5th gear and the rpms seem a little high to me just want your opinions it is a b16 transmisson out of a 00 civic.

Ummm yeah thats high for 5th gear. So its a 95 dx with a B16 and a 00 civic transmission? Are you sure you don't mean a B16?

Ok it is a b18b1 with a b16 trans
All i am asking is if a b16 transmission in 5th gear going 70mph should be at 3800rpms it seems high and i dont like driving down the highway in it not because of noise the exhaust is quite it just seems high to me for 5th gear but if you guys say that is normal then ok im fine with it.

I will but for a crusing down the highway 4500rpms seem very high to me and my transmission is mounted to a ls and that would be not far off redline seems like un nessary abuse to me but i guess i just do it to be on the safe side.
pffff mines bolted to a b20 and has been for almost 5 years and is doing awesome
That makes me feel alot better about it now.
