B18 Header doesn't line up?

I just bough a new header for my b18a1, and where the end of the header meets the cat (the holes for the bolts) doesn't line up. The cat is a little sideways, and the header is centered. Is the piping whats wrong or is the header supposed to be tilted and i got the wrong header or something? Every other header i looked at pics of was centered, so im thinking it's the piping..? any ideas?

Take it to an exhaust shop they'll fix it for your for like $40.

Ahhh the infamous problem.. You bought the wrong header. Did you buy it for an Si??

You have to take it to a muffler shop and have them redo the piping.

Just a thought but which header is which, so far im guessing the Si = centered?

Sounds like you got %^&*(^ you buy it off ebay?

Sounds like you bought a b16 header instead of a b18 header; the b16s have a shorter deck height and will not line up just right as opposed to a b18 header. I don't know the specifics for this, but the exhaust flanges are cocked sideways in one direction for some engines and the other way for others.

What brand header? any chance of swapping them out from where you got it if you dont want to pay an exhaust shop.
