Word up guys,
I recently finished a mini-me swap on my roommate's CX (he doesn't need any more power than that, lolz) (z6 head on b8 bottom) but I couldn't make the EX intake manifold work on his engine. The manifold had no spot for this... black thing with a round bit that goes on the back of the manifold. I don't really know what it is but one end (thin, black hose) goes into the manifold, another to the charcoal canister. I'm still using my old DX manifold on my mini-me and all the holes are there. What's the deal with this? Does the EX manifold not use that thing or something?
If this is totally confusing I understand, lol. I'd like to get this fixed though cuz that CX intake manifold is KILLING his HP and I'd rather not have to track down a DX manifold and sell the EX one.
Any help would be much appreciated :-)
