Looks like a lot of really nice parts with a TON of potential ... but it all looks half-assed. Fix some things before you improve on others.

Nothing really is half assed, I've just had bad luck since its a daily in Colorado. heres the reason why the body lines suck:

It also got towed, and it fell off a tow truck. Smashing my front radiator support lol.
Before the car goes into paint, the car is getting a new radiator support, door dents will be fixed, and all the body lines will be lined up. So the body should be in better shape than its in :thumbs up

And yeah I still have the spoiler, thanks for the comments guys!

I was mainly talking about cleaning your suspension, getting a non-monkeywelded exhausty, and cleaning up your interior. Wires everywhere.

Well again, this has been my daily for 2 years. Of course the suspensions going to get a bit nasty. I have Ksports waiting to go on, so that will be nice. The interior will get cleaned up (as I said in the first post, I'm re-doing all my interior) all my random s**t thats in the pic is gone, those wires that were hanging are tucked now. That was my only picture since I got the wink mirror (people demanded it on another forum, so I just snapped one) I'll take more pics after I get it all cleaned up. And the exhaust was something me and a bud fabbed up, but I will upgrade to an actual brand exhaust. I'm saving for a J's racing exhaust, but that wont come until after the engine build.

But I hear ya, the car has a lot of flaws I need to work on. This is a winter project now that I have a daily, so it will definitely improve. This thread is to show the beginning, and the improvements :thumbs up

it's not bad. I just don't really see a common theme going on, it's kind of thrown together imho.

Thanks for the C&C guys.
Yeah, you are right, the car does not have a particular theme as of now. It is always changing, because I cant make up my mind.
But, as far as the theme I'm going towards will be track use.
I got the C-West bumper because it was made and designed FOR the car, not just for looks.
I have J's canards that are going to be put on them, should be pretty cool.
I like random OE optional parts on the car too. But all in all, it is a work in progress, as anything is.
I promise by early next year the car will have a whole new look, but again, this is the start of the new project. Ive stopped on the car for awhile, but now I'm going to pick it up again, and stick to it. Make everything flow, fix the body, have a constant theme across the car, etc etc.

And thanks rey, we're always at walmart LOL. The wifey's motor blew in her car, so we take this thing everywhere. Sucks too, cause CO's winter is getting harsh! lol

Thanks guys :thumbs up
I got the tow hooks from my buddy in New Zealand, he had them layin around so I bought them from him.
I'm going to get a GSR head for the LS, and probably build it. But, I'm not sure just yet. The body/suspension/interior will be done first, then I'll do the motor.

I got the bumper quick releases from my friend. He can sell them to you if your interested :thumbs up

Yeah man, I've been debating on doing that since I got in my first wreck. The car is never the same, all the body lines NEVER align just right, it really sucks!
I was thinking about buying a 6th gen hatch, but I really like the rear ends of coupes, plus hatchbacks are everywhere! haha.
If I can find a cheap shell, I'll be all over it. But thanks for the comments guys!

The headlight duct is brand new, I havnt even drilled the holes to mount it haha. Maybe I'll stick it on for some mock-up shots for you all.
