I have a 1997 Honda Civic.
Threw a rod, swapped for another d16 non vtech from the junk yard. Now I have foam coming from the radiator but no smoke from the exhaust. It over heated one time but didn't get to the red. Ever since I have been adding water to the radiator everyday, usually twice a day and it doesn't over hear e but it does still foam from the hose that goes from the reservoir into the radiator. Also, the reservoir stays full, it doesn't run the water to the radiator when it starts to get low. I wait for it to get cool enough to add some and burp it.
Also. I have to no 4th or reverse. If I drive in d4 , something makes an awful sound. However today when I was costing into my driveway, reverse engaged and its working again.
Also it has a very rough shift between 1st and 2nd
