A computerhacker named YOSUF KARA is destroying motorcycle forums like this one by registering and then planting a virus. Read the following. This is from another forum the Zx-10 forum.
"Here is what Jeff said: Please be patient while I reconstruct our site. It was hacked by Yusuf Kara who has destroyed 241,000 forums. Please do not attempt to login or register and I will be trying to restore the databases and templates. Also, all new memberships will be by invitation only. The automatic activation of registrants has ended!! From what I can tell, Yusuf Kara gained access to the site by registerring then planting a worm virus into the database using private messaging. Then he gained control of my administration privileges, wrote in his script and hacking picture with message then deleted me so I could not log in and fix the problem. A backup tape from the server from Oct 25 did not even corrent the problem. I am hoping that almost 3 years for membership and posts has not all been lost. Please keep checking back and I will give you all the green light when it's OK to post again."

It looks like he found some exploit in phpbb and then hacked every phpbb forum he could find. Some of the links in that google search had their main page covered by a black image, but you could see the forum in the backround. They all look to be phpbb. I was too lazy to look at the source. Although, you can see the ones below are all hacked by him and they're phpbb > 2.0

If you look at the bottom of gixxer.com, it says "UBB.threads™ 6.5.1.1", so I doubt he'd be targetting this website.
