Bumper Moldings: He thinks they're fake...

So, lately everytime I see a car with the EDM/JDM bumper moldings I've been reminded of my friend, 3DScott. See, he has just recently gotten some new bumpers with these moldings. He happily toild one of his friends about them, another guy who's into Hondas. Well, this guy says he doesn't believe they exsist. Well, at least he doesn't think they came on Hondas stock.

I just thought this was hilarious and needed to share with those of us who know that yes, Honda made these bumpers and their moldings. If anyone wants to post proof from overseas that's cool too.

I know he's not into JDM, but I just think it's funny that he can't seem to believe that they're real.

The story that was relayed to me was that Scott told him and the guy was just like, "Nah... *shakes head* I don't think they're real." As in Honda does not make them at all, ever.

JDM EK (and ohter parts of Asia) non CTR came from the factory. UKDM was the same as JDM I believe

JDM EG was an option. Other parts of Asia came with it from the factory.

There's a sedan around town with those moldings on it as well. I've seen them before, just nothing as common as our normal bumpers though. They do exsist.

Exactly, because they had better taste than that.

The bumper moldings have a legitimate reason for being there. They protect the bumpers in tight parking.

Yeah, looks like it was actually an E39. I got the number from Jason becaues I don't usually know. Apparently he thought it had been an M5. It just made me laugh though when I saw it.

Like this, only it was a darker color grey.
