Your engine requires three things to turn it over: fuel, spark, and compression. If you're getting fuel to your fuel filter, it's unlikely it's fuel related.
To check if it's your fuel pump, sit in the car, put key in ignition, turn key to accessory, and listen for your fuel pump to turn on (should be a slight click, with a very brief humming sound). If you hear nothing, it's time to take a look at the pump. If you hear it, move on. Gotta be one of those three things.
