cadence subs?

hey i dunno if any of you know this brand..those who do can you tell me if they are good or bad?
a friend of mine gave me a 12" sub for me birthday!! cadence flash 12" i think it was...thnx cheers!!

I believe Cadence kinda did a whole sell out thing like Phoenix Gold did... ricey audio equipment...

...i was also wondering if the sub will go well if my 5 channel 4x300w+ 1x400w amp? im a noob as u can see..!!

what kind of amp is it? and those don't sound like RMS ratings.. unless you've got a really big boy like a Memphis Belle.

So, no.. that amp won't work, 'cuz that's an 8 ohm woofer..

the amp is audioline AL-1105 ...its not a very popular brand, you'll find it hard searching for it online
i got it for 550 bucks aussie dollars...!!

eh.. if I don't have the specs on the amp, I can't really tell you if it'll work with that woofer or not. But I still don't believe the numbers you said for the amp are RMS..

ohms = impedence. I suck at explaining it, but when it comes down to it, you have to keep that in mind when matching the woofer to an amp and wiring.
