Hey guys, went to look at some diagrams for wiring in my hatch(92 civic si) and i noticed some of the diagrams were labeled canadian and some united states.

on the sticker inside my door it says honda of canada. in toronto i think?

just wanna know if there's differences between usdm and canadian civics? I dont wanna start wiring stuff up without knowing what i'm doing and mess something up.

thanks.

Most if not all of the 92-95 civics were made in Canada (if Im not mistaken) but they were built to different specs. UDSM/CDM. Thats why there's the variance in the diagrams.
i had a 95 eh9 and it was from japan

anyway. you still have a usdm spec civic so you need to follow the usdm wiring

ok cause i used the nifty search button under the forum tab (i knoe ryte? who uses that thing?) and combined with google apparently a canadian civic si is the american ex? but those are supposed to have d16y8 and my engine is a d16z6. but my vin does say it's a canadian si (eh3) now i'm just plain damn confused -_-''''' lol

but anyways, all the wiring should be the same as the usdm manuals?(specifically the one from ronj's siggy and summit racing) just dont wanna wire in a killswitch and my car goes kaboom.

I'M CANADIAN!!!! lol
Quit saying stuff like "we got maple syrup" cause Québec is the province that actually harvests that s**t! lol
Anyway, basically I've got a 1994 Civic Si hatch and they have the D16Z6 which have 130hp...
But I am pretty sure that the only difference between USDM and CDM are the gauge clusters... lol
Nah, but the wiring diagrams you are talking about OP are practically the same thing!
All the best with the killswitch install! =)

For instance, CDM civics had DRL's. USDM did not. I'm waiting for my DRL wiring to come in from the land of maple syrup so I can wire them up, :D
Sent today. ;)

There are a few more subtle differences. Here is a list for the hatches:

I was not the best organized or motivated student in college. I found that taking the hard classes in summer school helped me be able to focus and keep up with the assignments.
^^^^^^^^WOW......what have you been smoking? that has nothing to do with this thread bro
