Cant remove stock grill?

Do i have to remove the bumper to install a new grill? I just cant get the old one out without breaking anything. I painted my type r style grill already so i would like to put it asap.

i believe you need to look on the underside of the grill, so yes you need to take off your bumper. its very simple

yea, its about 5 clips and 2 screws, very simple.

Heck, I bought an OEM Si grill and didn't put the screws back on. I just used the plastic clips in the engine bay.

Ok thanks yeah im not gonna put all the clips back in either. Thanks guys for the info. I know sometimes i ask dumb s**t but with my job im only home 3 days a week so i try and rush when i do diy projects. I love the type r grill so im excited lol.
