Car title.

I have a buddy who is giving me an eg shell. The only problem is that he doesnt have the title. He bought it from a police auction at the impound yard. My question is how hard is it to get the title for the car and would it be worth my time to try?

For a free shell, I say it'd be worth it. The other question is, how good of a condition is the shell in?

I talked to the BMV and he has to get a bill of sale from the guy who bought it from the police impound and then he will be able to get the title. Its in pretty rough shape so I decided to not mess with it. He has a few motors he tried to throw in with it but it looked like waaay to much work for me.
