CEL Light and Dangerously Low Idle?

I just had a new block swapped into my LX, but it idles at about 1k or 500rpms and gets really close to stalling. Also, when I go full throttle, there's very little responsiveness, and I get nowhere near the high end of the rpm range (7k-8k.) Also, the CEL remains on allthewhile...

any suggestions. or ideas. help?!

yeah, the car drives fine, it's just that once i get to a light, i idle really really low. at 500 or less.

i drive an auto so i have to break/gas at stop lights to keep from stalling.

check your vacuum lines and your IAC.

If your ck engine light is flashing you have a miss fire. Maybe you should bring it to a auto parts store to ck the DTC, they scan it for free.
