Chiped ECU or Stock ECU

I have to drive almost 200 miles to get to my tuner. I tried running my setup with the chiped ECU in my car and have had nothing but trouble with the performance and the plugs. The chip I have is just a basemap. Would I be better off running the OEM ECU to get to the tuner, or should I run the chiped ECU?

I have many friends do one of 2 things:

1) Drive lightly and keep it out of boost
2) Put a basemap from a similar setup and still drive carefully.

put your stock injectors back in for the ride to the tuner...and why are you using a stock fuel pump? You know your not really going to make any power because of that right?

Why would he want to have such a high base fuel pressure? There is no need for it to be that high.

Also, I would suggest putting your stock injectors in the car with the stock ecu and just limp the car to the tuner. You should have no problem staying out of boost as long as you are easy on the throttle.
