I got a spoon chip for an automatic trany. I put it in my manual trany 92 p28 computer and found with anything but WOT the engine will fall on its face. Is the computer different from manual and auto trany.
any info to edu me thanx.

your post is a little difficult to understand, what I get from it is a question of whether the ecu's are different for autos and manuals... if that is what you are asking then yes, they are different and an auto chip probably won't work for a manual application

what i think he is tryin to say is that he put a AUTO chip on a STANDERED ecu...and the engine wont work worth a s**t. that is my guess to what he is sayin
