I got a Honda Civic 97' 4dr Sedan and im having 'issues',

Okay so im trying to paint:

1. Moulds on the doors
2. Side trims
3. Front plastic lip

Theres a few problems i have,

1. First i cant get the side trims off

2. Cant get the front end moulds off, thats the end bits that are inbetween the front wheel and the door.

3. (Most important) I used a plastic primer, it was transparent and its an adhesive, then i sprayed my paint on, and after it dried i saw i got a lot of dull spots on the the surface. My car is cypres green and there were sections that were a grey type of green. What did i do wrong? lol

My civic is a different year than yours, but on mine you need to get to the
back side of the moldings to pinch the retainer to make them release.
Take your door panel off and see if you can see them.
For the fender, take off the inner plastic splash shield.
Also, some have a nut on the backside of the door at the end of the molding.
And also with some clips you have to slide the molding off of them
once the ends are released.

On the paint, check the re-coat time.
Sounds like you may have sprayed the paint before the primer was cured enough (??)

if you mean sideskirts, i think they pop off then, but dont quote me on it, mine was coming off a little bit on 1 side but i just kicked it and it popped back in.

to take the sides off take the screws off at the front wheel and then there are like 4 plastic clips under neath it and then go to the back of it (by the rear tire) and push it forward (towards the front tire) and it will fall off

On mine, you remove the screws at the end then the whole skirt slides
forward and off the clips.

right you need to take the door panels off inside the car and look in the door you will be able to see the backs of clips you need to push them together and then pull the molding off...start at one side and work your way down doing one clip at a time
