Seriously, how in the hell do you break the front passenger spring pulling out of a driveway?!?!?!? New suspension setup coming in the next few weeks...

Order has shipped!!!

I would do it. It will look awesome from the rear of the car, with a good drop and a 10mm it will look flawless in my opinion.
I think they are waiting for a while till I break the coilovers in. I thought about getting sway bars and a new intake so they will probably the next purchase.

Thanks.

i have a slammed gti, the cool thing is that vw's come pretty low factory. unlike civic's and wrx's they don't look like s**t without a drop. But keep one rule in mind when lowering a vw, you aint dubbin' if you aint rubbin'. hahah

Thanks man. Its back to stock now. Still really clean minus a few dings and a small rust spot that will be fixed once the tax return comes in.

The last week hasn't been all that great for the car. Sunday afternoon the e-brake cable broke on me. Monday drove the car all day without any issues until I went to leave for school around 5:30. Was running really rough so I dropped it at my parents and picked up one of their cars. Took the car in and here is the laundry list of stuff wrong. I told them to fix everything that was an issue.

-Bad fuel pump relay
-Bad EVAP sensor
-Bad thermostat (knew about)
-Rear driver brake caliper seized
-E-Brake cable disconnect in the center console
-Bad front passenger CV Joint / Bad boot
-Bad front passenger tie rod end

Going to cost me around $1800 for the parts, labor, and front end alignment. At least once I get it back she will be running properly without any CEL's for the first time in over 2.5 yrs.

Quote for truth. I went to look at a golf once for my first car. Half the electronics didn't work. Drove like a charm but it was an electrical nightmare.
