Coil Over and Skunk2 Gas Shock probelm ((help asap thaks))

have my si slamed on weapon R Coilover and stock gas shocks, bouncying around all day. Just bought brand new skunk2 sport gas shocks and i have to rise the car from the 8th ring to the 12th rings which looks stock for the gas shocks to even work a little. Why is that do i need to cut the bumpstop inhalf or wat help asap thanks

well the skunk2 are pretty much factory replacments...that might just have to be your ride height with those to where they are actually effective.

don't cut your bump stops.
