Cruise control delete problem

OK so I deleted my cruise control and now the gas sticks I removed the cable from the throttle body and plugged the vac line at the intake now my gas stays wherever I put it last if wot it stays at wot I have to pull the pedal back up for it to return to idle what am I missing?? Does the throttle just need lubricating or did I need to do something else?

When you blocked off the wires after removing the cruise control, did you lay anything on the main throttle wire? If not, sounds like you just need to lube it up - possibly check to make sure it's seated properly. I deleted my cruise control on my D16y8 and had no issues. Even ghetto rigged the vents with screws LOL.

went outside playd with the throttle cable not really moving it much and it works well now really not sure what happened
