Cruise control work sometimes???

The dealer said that front passenger abs senor was bad, so I installed a new one. The ABS light is out now, but the cruise control only work sometimes. Someone give me advice. * Yes I disconnected the battery for the install.

I actually had that problem too, the cruise control worked when it felt like it. Didn't really care because I never use it, but for some reason it started working again.

do u have LED's for tailights? any kind. the bulb or a aftermarket LED tailight.

sorry i should have explaned.

the tailights can affect the Cruse control. i found out that the LED's cause a input to float causing the erratic "some times it works and some times it dosent".

More information about what happens when the cruise control (cc) won't work sure would help. For example, does the cc button light fail to turn on? Does the cluster cc light fail to turn on when the speed is set? Have you checked the cc switch on the brake pedal?
