cruise control

for some reason my cruise control just doesnt work all of a sudden.
when i push the cruise button the light on the dash comes on but when i push the set button it wont set. anybody know how to fix this or what the problem could be?

check to see if the cable is snapped or if the fuse is blown...

k i can check the vacuum lines but does anyone have a diagram where i can locate the cruise control cable?

A common cause of cc problems is that the rubber stoppers at the top of the clutch or brake pedal fall out. If those are fine, check each pedal switch.

ok thanks everyone the vacuum lines and the cable look fine i dont have a fuse diagram so im gonna check the fuse later and thanks ron j ile check that when i check the fuse
