throw a killswitch in there on the fuel pump and do security mods first...

to update your alarm because it has some really common flaws that can make it quite useless to protect your car from a thief.
First: Rerun your hood release cable through the engine bay, because the thief can easily reach under your driver's side fender and cut the cable, and if you don't have a hood pin connected to the alarm, the thief can just open your hood, cut the siren cables, making your alarm mute...
An alternative is installing a hood pin that will trigger the alarm when the hood is opened.
Second: Hide the siren, maybe install a secondary in case the thief can find the first one.
Third: Install battery backup for your alarm, in case they cut the power, your alarm will still function...
All this info is here: http://causeforalarm.thecarthing.com/version6/stealth_alarm/ek_civic/index.html
But this is only my 2c of advice.
Good luck with the build bro. Keep this thread up to date.

Today is def. not my day....

So heres the story......I was approaching an intersection and this lady in a Scion Xb was making a left turn from the opposite direction....she decided to stop directly in front of me and in the middle of the intersection....so i went to the right to avoid hitting her head-on then the dumbass decided to hit the gas pedal and slammed into the side of my car....Im just glad that my frame was not bent...i just need a fender and a drivers door.
