custom exhaust for ex coupe 95

im about to change my exhaust, my car is a stock ex 95 coupe, future plans for now, some bolt ons, headers, cams, and i was thinking that having a 2.5in custom exhaust might be a good idea, but a friend told me that going 2.5 is to much specially if im not gonna do any swaps, so i hope to get some ideas and comments about this!!! thanks

i went 2.5 on mine and im doing a h22a swap its fine to go that big i would got maybe thos 2.25
