CV joint clarification

Loud pedal

New Member
Hi,
Have a 96 civic..Have a clicking sound when turning left at slow speeds. Boots are fine, but I replaced the axle (outer joint was stiff)...I still have the clicking sound occasionally when turning left???
It's my understanding that the direction of turning is indicative of the axle needing attention (correct??). The PO changed the passenger axle before we purchased.
Suggestions please.
thanks

Make sure the wheel is not rubbing anything when the wheel is turned. Its easy to get a dust shield or plastic cover out of place.
