Was lucky enough to stumble across a D1 event in Chicago. Some pics I snapped from the grandstands:

A Rebel XSi w/ the Canon EFS 55-250 IS lens.

Honestly, I am not a huge fan of the lens. Not because of the quality, but I find myself changing glass a lot with it in my bag. Of course, until they make my dream lens (EF 10-300mm f/2L IS USM) I guess you kind of have to deal with that.

Not really digging em, there's no sign of movement in the pictures. Should have practiced panning the shots. The angles are really awkward in my opinion as well.

That's how I feel too. But where we were sitting, the cars were coming directly at us. Problem is, it was the only place you could sit that you weren't looking through a fence. There was a photog out in the middle of the course. I would love to see what he has.
