Thanks guys, Its not like I don't wanna do the timing belt. I did it on my last car, it was at 208k but thats why I got rid of it. It was burning oil, and making a strange noise at high rpms, plus bad struts. It was a DC4 btw. I had the money left over for the timing belt when I got it too! But guess what? It had a bad gas tank leak. As soon as I had it. Funny cause I check for leaks everywhere under that car upon inspection. So there goes half of it. Then spent the rest on a tune up parts. Not trying to make excuses but thats just what happened. Bad luck.

I don't think so. Because the problem only happens say every 2 weeks. Hasn't happened yet, but I just don't see how that ground wire could have solved it.

*UPDATE* It's gotta be the fuel pump. When I let it go to about 1/4 tank is ONLY when it happens. The 2 week period it didn't happen was relevant because thats when the fuel would be pretty much empty. Just hope thats all it is. Once ran it out on E (wasnt my fault) and it did the same thing start then die. So think thats my issue.

Well what are the problems when it starts to run? Either way when I get it started after the problem happens, I feel no change in throttle response, acting funny, bogging or dying at a stoplight. Runs just the same. Not 100% sure it is the fuel pump yet. But it would be common sense lol. Still hasn't happened, hence me not letting it go under 1/2 tank.
