Ok. Picture time. These are just pics of the build. I have to take pics of the car still. And I don't know how to put them in here as images so they are links.
So, really this advice is not necessarily correct since I'm not sure I did the build 100% correct because my car is not really running right now, but take from it what you can and treat it all with some skepticism I guess.
Loosening the timing belt tensioner bolt (even though this was actually taken when i was trying to tighten it):

- Turn this bolt 180-360 degrees but no more and your timing belt should be loose. You may have to turn the crank a little, but make sure you get it back to TDC. IMPORTANT: Almost definitely you will have to take off the nearby engine mount to break this bolt loose. You get 3 inches of room to position the ratchet on the bolt and about 6 (maybe) to crank on it. I got a small circumference piece of pipe from home depot in order to get the necessary leverage and even then it was difficult
Sorry I forgot to take pics of TDC, especially cause it is easily the most important part. PM me if you need to know and if I'm still on this site I'll get back to you. But I might be buying a different car now.
Timing belt off:

Remove the distributor:

-Don't be stupid like me and dismantle your distributor. All you have to do is take off the cover so you can mark where the rotor is pointing, put the cover back on, and take out the three holder bolts.
Rocker arms off, stock cam out:
http://img341.imageshack.us/i/dscn2630r.jpg/
-Just ratchet the bolts out in the correct backwards torque sequence going 1/4 turns at first, then maybe 1/2, and once they are loose enough just get the bitches out. DO NOT REMOVE BOLTS FROM ROCKER ARMS! If you remove the bolts completely the arms will fall apart on you and you will be f**ked.
Comp cam on top, stock on bottom:

Put the cam in, tighten down the rocker arms (in the correct torque order of course 14ft/lb for the 12s, 9ft/lb for the 10s), reattach distributor (make sure rotor lines up), and theeeeen......
Timing belt re-tensioned after much hard work and some injury. Please note on the lower left side of the cam gear a piece of skin. It came from the side of my right thumb:

- I previously posted a link explaining how to re-tension your timing belt. Don't mess around if you're doing this. Follow the instructions on the link exactly. And do your best not to strip this bolt, as in make sure you're getting the ratchet on there tight before you crank on it.
All back together:

-ignore my asian bling battery tie...
Then I crashed the car. Now it won't start. I don't know if I messed something up on the build or if the crash did something to it, or if its because of the bolt I just broke off in my valve cover. Whatever. Updates soon. I'll post pics of the car later even though i'm not sure if anyone but emerican cares.
