i have a stock 1999 honda civic ex ( d16y8 ) with a stock p28. ( im guessing the y8's come with the p28 ). i plan on swapping to a b16a in my coupe and tuning it. would it be possable too put my p28 ecu onto the new engine? because i heard that the p28 is best for tuning? but anyways what all would i need for the ecu to work with the b16, instead of the d16? i apologize ahead of time, im new with this whole ecu and computer stuff....

Well yes you can get the p28 to run a b16 or you could get an obd2 b16 and ecu. If you car is all stock you wouldnt have a p28 ( p28's are obd1) 1992-1995 cars.
