i was wondering if it is possible, and if there are any tricks to removing the gray piece of trim that goes from the dimmer and mirror controls over to the radio and climate controls on an eg?

what i'm doing is coverting my interior lights to amber, and instead of removing the entire climate control unit, i thought i might be able to get the faceplate off from the front and then switch the bulbs.

any and all info appreciated!

Thanks, Chris

It would be easier just to remove the climate control, you pretty much have to remove the whole dash to remove the grey panel.

no its in the haynes manual. remove the radio and then disconnect the cables from the climate control and then there are some screws. alright well i guess that's what i'll be doing.
