Dont know what's wrong with my 96 LX

I got a 96 LX automatic... Sometime when i accelerate the pedal sometimes stays stuck all they way down ... which is real dangerous for me sometime .... does anyone know why it might be doing this?

well it sounds to me like the cable is sticking. follow it and try to find where

is it getting stuck on your carpet? sounds dumb, but when i had my old coupe it'd get stuck behind the carpet.

Lmfao sometimes when it gets stuck its ok but when youre on the highway or something it doesnt matter

Just push down the brakes a little bit, that should even it out

Maybe he takes it down the 1/4 mile on weekends. Having the accelerator stay down on its own wouldn't be such a bad thing, no?

OP, I would guess it is getting stuck on something. Does it only happen when you fully depress the pedal or randomly?
