drain plug or tranny striped help

man i changed my tranny fluid and i mest up the drain plug. i tightened it where i thought it would loosen, because it did acted like it was loosening, and i dont know if the drain plug is mest up or inside the tranny(the thread) how can this be fixed? the drian plug dosnt tighted up. add more washers or what? the drain plug pretty good, probably mest up the inside. need help.

sounds like you may have cross threaded it, you might be able to get a tap and die set and salvage the threads
