draining battery...

I installed a ipod adapter on my stereo, but i didn't ground it properly, i grounded it to the back of the stereo and now it keeps draining the battery. so my question is could this be what is draining my battery? im not home to troubleshoot it but thats what i remember installing before i left home. thanks

it's not the ground. what power wire did you connect it to? you probably connected it to a constant power source. you need to connect it to a power source that only turns on with the keys in the ignition.
