So I was driving through my city today and my civic completely died on me. I had enough power to get it into a parking space and tried to start it. It cranks but never catches. Sounds like it wants to but nothing ever happens. Idk whats going on but it wont start. PLEASE HELP! ASAP IF POSSIBLE! Thank you guys!

I would check your Alternator for the first thing. If it died suddenly while driving then more than likely your alternator took a crap on you.

check the distributor
Could be your ignitor buh its jus a guess, could be a number for things. If you dont wanna just start replaceing parts by part, u shuld get yurself a voltemeter and do some simple diag yourself. Checke for fuel, the see if the car is getting spark.

did it slowly die? did it seem like it lost power? then it is most likely your battery or alternator

This, if it SLOWLY died, as in the power slowly dropped off until it died, then its probably your battery/alt

If it just suddenly cut out then fuel isn't getting to where it needs to be
