eg gauge cluster, blinkers, back hazard lights dont work

my friend just got a 92 eg hatch and the kid he bought it from said that the gauge cluster doesn't work because he blew a fuse trying to wire the fog lights in but the fuses seems fine
the clusters lights come one and the hazard lights come on but it doesn't register rpms or speed but we put it in another hatch and it worked fine...?
as for the blinkers they light up when headlights are on hazards blink but turn signals do not....
help?

Don't always trust your fuses. They can look fine but be bad. Use a test light and test every fuse. Some of the fuses that are for one thing may actually fuse something else. Also use a power probe if you have one. It's just a fancier test light that allows you to switch the polarity and test it your self by giving one side of the fuse power or ground. If its not a fuse issue check the bulbs them selves. Hope this helped!
