Alright so my sunroof will lower, and reseat (no leaks) but it will not retract, or raise up. Any ideas? I heard it could be off track, rails could be gummed up, how do I trouble shoot this?
Had that same problem in my old ej. when ever i wanted to use the sun roof i had to push it up and press the button that opens the sun roof at the same time. then press the button to slide it back. after awhile i just stop using.
If you can get it to open try cleaning the rail and put some type of lube on it maybe that will help.
i never found out the reason mines was doing that
do you hear the motor sound, when you push the switch to open the sunroof? If yes maybe the rubber seal prevents the sunroof to move. Spay all over the rubber area with some silicone spray
