Emblems/stickers

I know i could search for it and Ive tried but it just comes up with cop cars and other s**t.

so im gonna ask here since i figure one of you may know if you dont please just don't answer don't tell me to search.

i was just wondering if its legal to take off all the del sol/civic stickers and the honda emblems.
I like having a totally unmarked just paint smooth and clean car. but idk if itd be illegal cuz some cop wouldn't be able to ID the car when pullin it over.

oh im sure they'd know my car but like an old civic ya know if theres no marks it might be this car or this one.

i meant the honda emblems too.

ill give it a shot and if i get pulled over for it we'll know for sure.

Cops know what a Honda Civic or Del Sol look like... I've never heard of it being illegal. Check with your state.

i'm sure it's fine to shave the emblems/labels/stickers off....

Mine doesn't have the front emblem on the hood...and i'm perfectly safe with it....

They mainly ID a car from the license plates.. and if they suspect faulty information they would match it with the VIN number. I asked my dad (been a cop in Ohio for around 25 years) and he hasnt heard of anything like that. But said that he has never looked it up specifically.

It's not illegal, like sf said cops ID your vehicle by your license plate.

My buddy has an 8 series de-badged and the cop that pulled us over had no idea what it was before he ran the plates.

Same thing with the rx-7 that I drive during the summer. It only has the mazda emblems on it, but no emblems/sticker of the car model, and it blows people's minds, well, people at my age because it's in such good condition and looks like a whole new model from mazda.

Even one cop asked me what kind of car is it. He pulled me over, not for anything but just to look at the car!
