engine codes

I am getting an Engine code 5 on my 95 civic, we had a storm roll thru the other night and didn't see the road flooded over and went thru it. I am getting the engine codes of number 5, and when taking off it stalls for a split second then takes off.

I found out the map sensor was bad, and how they say to reset the codes i have done it but still the code comes up. Please help

i dont know what you mean. I know only if there stands b16a2 it means a 1.6 vtec vti 164hp, and b18a1 its a 1.8 vtec ti with 220hp.

What procedure did you use to reset your CEL? You may want to take your dizzy cap off and check for moisture. How flooded was it?

did u replace your MAP sensor before you tried to reset the ECU?
