Does anyone know if a SOHC head will fit onto a DOHC bottom end?

any reason as to why cos I have a mechanic who says it can be done
No it cannot.
the DOHC block is wider, cylinders dont line up, go put a SOHC head gasket on top of a DOHC head gasket, they wont line up.
search...all this as been covered literally a million times.
in that case will the crankshaft from a SOHC fit a DOHC engine?
only askin as have a knackered DOHC that needs crankshaft and have 2 SOHC engines hanging around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
btw it aint a B series its a H series

If you think your mechanic knows what they're talking about then let them. I just wouldn't pay up front.

lets see this s**t. be like a SOHCd22 lol. or a SOHCd23. hells yes.never say nothin can be done, with a modification here and there it can always fit, by the way he aint an idiot, hes done some funky s**t like this b4
