Engine Swap

Alright so Im planning on buying a B16, or possibly a B18 for my civic this upcomming fall. I have a 99 civic with a D16 in it. How tough will it be to do the engine swap? will I need a new chip or OBO converstion?

ok, the actual swap is easy as baking f**king cookies.

The only hard part is cutting the wiring harness.
Go get someone who knows what they're doing.

you will need an obd2-obd1 conversion harness unless you buy my type-r ecu =D

I'd personally go with the B18. I did the B16, now I have a cracked head, and it's not as fast as I would have wanted it. altough it's way faster then the D16.

you dont need to cut the wiring harness. i put the b18b in mine and i like it alot. was easy to do as well. but like i said no need to cut your wiring harness i just used my old one
