So I was driving home from work the other day and well the piston is screwed....and me not knowing too damn mush about these kinda things I was wondering what my options are... can the piston just be replaced, or as Im thinking do I just need a new motor? and if I do need a new motor, Im looking for a d16y8 and of course v-tech motors are hard to find these days...ne ideas on what to do or how much Imma have to spend to get my car fixed?

I don't know how to came to a conclusion that you "blew a piston." why not post an image of the damage.

Is it like a grinding noise as in the cylinder walls got rough? Or is it like one of the pistons is totally destroyed?
