EVAP system leak

Recently my check engine light came on on my 2000 honda civic ex that i bought about two weeks ago. i went to autozone to get a scan and they said it was either:
1. loose gas cap
2. vapor canister saturated
3. failed vent solenoid
4. failed purge solenoid

I already tried a new gas cap and the light is still on. I am curious about where the vapor canister is located and how i would check the other 3 possibilities as well as what steps i have to take to check them.

really though, the 1457, could be anything in your evap emmissions system. canister purge solenoid, 2 way bypass valve, fuel tank pressure sensor, canister vent shut valve, alot of rubber hoses, alot of hard plastic lines, evap canister,
a good DIGITAL multimeter and vacuum pump will ease your pinpointing.
