civic betty, i know what you mean. back when i was living in sweden i was connected on 10Mbit/s to the internet. only me and my roommate sharing that bandwidth. and it cost $25/month!

when it comes to broadband, every country in the world has something to learn from sweden.. here in ireland i'm connected at a measly 512/128kb/s (ADSL)... infinetly better than dialup, though.
