May want to try using some shadow adjustment for the body of the bug though, try and bring out a little more of your subject.

i was using my sigma 24-70 f/2.8. I did a little sharpening in PS and some contrast adjustments. but not much was still sharp from the camera.
Alex i was trying different apertures and i think this was at a aperture of 8 or 5.6. i was at 70mm so if there isnt anything close in the backround(and this lens just seems to do this all the time) it blows out the back ground. still learning the 40D anyways haha.

Man, I haven't been on here in a while.

Took this two weeks ago on the beach here.

Two 430EX flashes. One to camera left, and one to camera right. Triggered by wireless transmitters.
