exhaust header question

I see that every US civic is dumped all the way down. It looks really nice, but I was woundering what headers do you use with ur B series motors? Do u prefer 4-2-1? Cause my friend has just eibach springs and honda JDM 4-1 header and he has problem cause of lowered car and low header....

The 4-2-1 sits higher then the 4-1. 4-2-1 All around, Low to midrange Rpm Power. 4-1 High Rpm power. When i drop mine im probably going with Megan Racing 4-2-1.

yes I know that sits higher. but I prefer 4-1 for its top-end power. Is anyone here lowed like 3" and more and has 4-1 header?

I do. Just drive over speed bumps really really really really slow or you'll hear a noise that will make your ears bleed.

4-1...bro...try megan racing headers. cheap, good quality, and nice gains. As for scrapping your headers its gonna happen and you can't do alot about it. I do believe you can buy or make a plate to protect the headers though...i've seen a pic before, the plate was made for a ITR header....

yea i have a 4-2-1 two piece on my hatch. def a good header for the price

My car is in the US and it is not dumped, lol. Only about and inch and a half. Love it and no problem clearing s**t.

i used to have a 4-1 header. it sat an inch off the ground. for months i drove with it, being extra careful when i pull in places. then i was cruising one day, and didnt notice there was a dip running across the road... long story short my friends car behind me saw a wonderful spark show, and two of the pipes were caved in... now im back to stock exhaust manifold :(

e-cut out > header. But if your going to slam your car you are going to have to sacrifice comforts. Im using stock header. Header for me is not worth spending the money for .00023 hp that your going to gain at the wheels.
