exhaust quieting help

i have a 2.5 inch exhaust all the way and has a way bigger muffler at the end, the setup sounds nice but not to cops and i must admit it is too loud. i have no resonator either but i do have a cat converter. i would like to know, is there a way to quiet it down a lot close to no sound ? ideally id like an exhaust that sounds stock until i floor it.. i want to know if i change the muffler at the end and add a resonator is this a way at quieting it down a whole lot? i was looking at maybe a magnaflow muffler at the end and one of these 2 resonators? would these actually help?

Adding a resonator will quiet it down a lilttle bit

Is there anything else with a resonator that would help make it quieter? Cuz my muffler is a 4 inch or more at the end that's why I thought maybe getting another muffler at the end of the line?

yeah the muffler defintly isnt helping man id change that out actually id go ahead and just buy a full catback that has a resanater and a smaller muffler then what you have now.

Alright thank you that answered my question
I'm just curious for this though the other day I went to a track and saw an EM1 that was quiet until it passed a certain rpm then the exhaust sound was loud any idea how to achieve a quiet exhaust until higher rpms like above 4k rpms? It certainly wouldn't get cops attention like I currently do :/
