Exhuast spits water type liquid that's smells like fuel

I have a 91 civic hatchback sometimes it spit out liquid from the exhuast that smells like fuel can anyone tell me what this might be

it's just moisture . it's normal

Yup. Condensation collects in the exhaust piping when it's cool. Then you crank up the motor and it blows it all out.

false. it comes from the catalytic converter. water vapor is one of the resultants of the chemical reaction that occurs within the cat. this is also a good sign that your cat is functioning properly

He said liquid. Not vapor. The cat doesn't produce enough vapor to condense in the exhaust system. It's condensation from hot air and a cold pipe.

So on a catless exhaust system, say a turbo-back Vibrant TPV, the liquid water running out the muffler comes from...?
